St. Xavier’s high School team comprising of Master Hrishikesh Jadhav and Master Charudatta Deshpande participated in the All India bournvita Quiz Contest held at Sangla in Himachal Pradesh. St. Xavier’s won the quarter finale and made it to the semi –final. The School was ranked 6th in the Asia Bournvita Quiz Contest.

Master. Sanjay Shiralkar (1983 batch)
Squadron leader,has been appointed as Aerial refueling director on IL-78 MKL air craft the first flight refueler of the IAF. He has around 1700 flying hours to his credit and holds flying category ‘A’ on both IL-76 MD and IL-78 MK I aircraft.
He was attached to 01 wing Srinagar during Kargil operations. He was the member of 1st contingent who flew to Bagram in Afghanistan in IL-76 MD aircraft. -
Mr.Devavrat Bhandarkar, a pilot in the IAF and ex-student of St.Xavier’s was honoured with Vayusena Medal on Vayusena Day for his bravery in saving the Tsunami affected people on the Car Nicobar Island.

St. Xavier’s secured the 1st place in the Inter –school guard Mounting Competition held at the Annual NCC training camp at Kagal.

The Coir Group of St.Xavier’s High school Kolhapur secured 1st prize at the district level in the National Integration Group organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Branch Kolhapur.
